This statement covers all projects in-house tonight. Blame our art director and copywriter on that one.
Colossal Squid Industries is now Borax3.0 compliant. Web 3.0, open source, with hooks into the Facebook API. The extensibility of the BX3 scripting language allows for implementation of web widgets, z-axis animations, and things we’re still thinking up. We have seen the future, and it is Borax3.0

Last night we had dinner at Squid Galactic Headquarters. I enjoyed a cold can of Old Style beer with sushi. No big deal - just need people to know it happened. It worked surprisingly well.
Monday 3/31:
9:00am doors open. Let’s get this thing going. Configure phones, finalize processes, and talk about what we really want to do here.
9:15am - Let’s get coffee instead.
9:45am - Agency #1 calls. We’re hired for big brand concepting. Process discussions on hold.

Tuesday 4/1: High noon - Concepts delivered with visuals. Tomorrow is process day.

Morning - Process on hold. Agency #2 needs web concepts for spirits. Steve contemplates a Colossal Squid shot glass design.
Afternoon Part 1 - Brainstorm for Agency #3’s flying machines game. Process discussions officially dead.
Afternoon Part 2 - A cop is standing at my desk. A real cop. With a gun.

Thursday 4/3: Burger Baron delivers on his name. And a detective agency just opened around the corner. West Loop is the best place ever.

Friday 4/4: Fat Truck Friday. More on this later. Agency #1 needs more concepts next week. Perhaps we’ll offshore our process discussions. Steve found the shot glasses.
We’re thinking this Squid Thing is gonna work well. And the Fat Truck is awesome.

Well, we’ve finally done it. We have left all of our good friends at Leo Burnett/Arc (and Y&R) to start our very own interactive shop. It’s been a big change but one that we’re enjoying immensely. Today was day three and already thing are busy. We’re going to need a bigger boat..
